An FCC Registration Number is required. The FCC no longer accepts Social Security numbers at exam sessions.

Start Studying FreeCreate an FCC CORES account and save your FRN. Use the same legal name on your FCC and exam registrations.
Get an FRN at FCC.govWork through the question pool, take practice exams, then choose an MTVETT session when you are consistently passing.
Open HamStudy.orgBring a valid photo ID. You may use a calculator during the exam.
